Paksé Hôtel was the first big building constructed under the supervision of Chao Boon Oum, last King of Southern Lao. In 1962, it became a cinema and casino and was the heart of life in Pakse, hosting festivals and major events for the entire population.
Totally renovated in 2003, the hotel has a perfect location in the centre of Paksé, within walking distance from the Mekong River, banks, all services, shops and VIP bus station to Vientiane. Also, the international aiport is only 3 km away, allowing quick connections to Vientiane, Savannakhet, Luang Prabang, Bangkok, Siem Reap and soon Ho-Chi-Minh city (Saïgon).
